1. Independence
PROPFIRM.MONSTER is an independent publication. The Monster is us, the editorial desk, never a prop firm, never a broker. We have no ownership interest in any firm we review, and no firm pays for its score.
2. Affiliate disclosure
Some links and codes on this site may earn us a commission. This is disclosed on every commercial placement and summarised as: "We may earn a commission if you use a link or code on this page. It never changes the Monster Score." The full policy: commissions never affect scores, verdicts, tax ratings or rankings. Featured commercial placement, where it exists, is visually distinguishable from editorial content.
3. What we review and how
We review prop firms against their published terms, documented behaviour and verifiable evidence , using the source hierarchy published on the methodology page. Firms in the registry without a review are explicitly listed as "Known to the Monster" and carry no score. We never invent data to fill the site.
4. YMYL standards
- This site is information and review content, not personalised financial advice.
- Prop trading involves financial risk. Rules vary. Terms change.
- We never promise income and never imply buying a challenge equals profitability.
- Every significant review carries a reviewer, dates and sources.
- We never use the words scam, fraud, thieves or criminal without an authoritative legal or regulatory finding plus editorial review. Hard criticism is always factual and attributed.
- The Monster's humour never obscures a rule. The joke is never the information.
5. Corrections
We correct, we don't delete. Errors in facts, scores or rules are fixed with a dated note on the affected page. Report errors below; we respond and correct publicly.
6. Freshness honesty
Every "checked" date is the date we actually checked. We do not fabricate freshness, discounts, expiries or countdowns. A deal we cannot verify is shown as "no verified code", with a straight face.
