PRIVACY POLICY

We eat fine print. We don't eat your data.

Last updated: 12 August 2026. This policy describes what data this site collects, why, and what we never do with it. It is written in plain English because the Monster does not believe fine print should hide anything.

1. Who we are

PROPFIRM.MONSTER is an independent prop-firm intelligence publication (propfirm.monster). We publish reviews, rankings, deals and rule explainers. We are not a broker, not a prop firm, and we do not hold or process funds.

2. What we collect

Nothing until you interact

Reading this site requires no account, no personal details and no cookies for the content to work. The site itself does not set cookies or write to local storage.

Analytics (only when configured)

The site supports Google Analytics 4 (GA4). It only loads if the site operator has configured a measurement ID, which happens through a server-side environment variable. If analytics is active, GA4 may collect standard analytics data: pages viewed, referrer, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, and interaction events (for example, search queries, deal views, promo-code copies and affiliate-link clicks). We use this to understand which reviews and deals are useful.

Interaction events

Some clicks carry lightweight event metadata (which firm, which placement) so we can see what works. These are attached to analytics only; they do not identify you personally.

Infrastructure (Cloudflare)

The site is served through Cloudflare's network. Cloudflare processes standard connection data (IP address, user agent, request logs) for security, performance and delivery. This is infrastructure data, not marketing data.

3. What we never do

  • We never sell, rent or trade personal data.
  • We never build advertising profiles of readers.
  • We never require an account or email to read anything, including deal codes.
  • We never combine your browsing data with any identity you have not given us.
  • We never paywall or gate reviews behind data collection.

4. Cookies

The core site sets no cookies. If GA4 is configured, Google's analytics cookies may be set by Google's own scripts, subject to Google's cookie policies. We intend to add a consent control before any analytics-dependent launch; until then analytics is only active if the operator has explicitly enabled it in the deployment environment.

5. Affiliate links

Some deal and review pages contain affiliate links. If you click one, the destination provider may set its own cookies and process data under its own privacy policy. We may receive a commission from qualifying purchases; a commission never changes a Monster Score. See the editorial policy for the full disclosure.

6. Email (future)

We are planning a "watch this firm" alert feature. If and when email capture launches, it will collect only the email address you choose to provide, with a clear purpose, consent that is easy to withdraw, and an unsubscribe link on every message. Codes will never be gated behind email capture.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR/UK GDPR or the Australian Privacy Act), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, and to object to processing. Because we hold almost no personal data, exercising these rights is usually a simple matter of contacting us. We respond to such requests promptly.

8. Contact

Privacy questions, data requests or concerns: desk@propfirm.monster. Security researchers should use the contact details in security.txt.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date at the top changes with it. Material changes are noted on this page; we never change a policy to take data retroactively.
