The Catch, Compared
before you payFTMO
- The 30% consistency rule. Since 2023, when you request a payout, no single trading day may account for more than 30% of your total profit. A monster day that earns 40% of your profit will delay or reduce that payout. It doesn't block passing the challenge, it affects cashing out.
- Daily loss is calculated end-of-day. The 5% daily loss limit is checked at end of day, not intraday. That's friendlier than intraday trailing, but it means an intraday drawdown that recovers by close doesn't count, and one that closes down 5%+ on the day does. Know which you're trading.
FundedNext
- The program matrix will get you. Stellar (2-step), Express (1-step), Evaluation, instant funding, futures, each with different targets, drawdowns and consistency rules. The wrong product for your style is a wasted purchase. Match the program to how you trade before matching it to the price.
- Consistency applies on Stellar. The flagship Stellar evaluation carries a 40% consistency rule at payout. The one-step and instant products differ, check the specific rulebook, not the marketing page.
